Large attendance marks railway men’s hall event

In a crowded auditorium last Friday, the annual hall of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainment drew a large crowd and widespread enjoyment. Supper by the Federated Clubs filled Bagley hall, with Domber patronizing the event. The Yaokesa Robinson company canceled its local engagement, as Ringling Brothers shifted dates to June 2, sending the Robinson show to Sparta. Weinberg Construction Co. won a $107,000 county hall project bid to be built near Marshfield.

Man Crushed by Mill Beams in Fatal Accident

Anton Stotak a 45 year old mill worker for Consolidated Water Power and Paper Co died instantly when a heavy three ton roll and I beam fell after the beam pulled from its wall support during a lower floor transfer. A coroner’s inquest ruled accidental death and listed survivors as a wife and daughter. Church Dedicated at Kellner Moravian Congregation

The First Moravian Church of Kellner dedicated a new 21 by 40 foot building with a 8 by 12 entrance, basement nine feet clear, and a steepled tower. Bishop Mueller of Watertown delivered the dedication sermon. The day featured a German address, a fellowship afternoon, and a large evening service with local ministers and Rev. Milne, Rev. Newing, and Rev. Staff contributing. A German-language history overview highlighted the Moravian church’s early origins and global mission. A supper followed and attendance was strong.

Verdict Favors Plaintiff in Fors Estate Suit Against Paper Co
