Store Fire Destroys A. J. Kujawa Shop at Rudolph
A blaze at the A J Kujawa store in Rudolph last Friday about 2 am burned the building and much stock, with losses around 8000 dollars, partly insured. The fire was spotted by a St Paul railway crew, neighbors struggled to save goods as flames halted progress. Selmer Hassell saved limited household items despite rapid spread. Also included is a list of jurors for the circuit court and notes on Marshfield newspaper ownership changes and a Johnson & TimCo sale of remnants.

Local basketball trip ends in Marshfield loss
The Marshfield team beat the local boys 29 to 18 at Marshfield on Friday. Spectators joined in to help the home team, making the game rough at times. Miss Kate Reichel broke her right arm near the wrist on Saturday evening after slipping on an icy sidewalk. both bones fractured and she will be incapacitated for some time.

Death of Joseph Stubleski in the city
Joseph Stubleski aged 40 died Tuesday morning after a lengthy illness caused by cancer. He lived with Joseph Jackan. An operation four months ago offered little relief. He is survived by brothers Anton and John Stubleski of Rudolph and two sisters in Milwaukee. Funeral Thursday morning from the Polish Catholic church on the west side.
