Death of Win Petrie of Vesper at 71
Win Petrie of Vesper died Friday from kidney trouble at 71, Civil War veteran. Funeral Tuesday at the Methodist church with the G A R in charge. survived by two sons and five daughters including Charles and James Petrie of Vesper, Mrs Andrew Poolson of this city, Mrs Gustav Kerneen of Pittsville, Mrs Lilly Taken of Beloit, and Laura and Paige Petrie of Vesper. The Eagles Chapter officers were named for the upcoming year. The order has about 100 members and $1100 in the bank. Also noted is the death of Rose Seenook, 10, of Lonng Seenook, who died Wednesday after several weeks illness. Several events were held Saturday at the Catholic church on the east side under Rev. Reding.
