Chandler Brothers of Rockford Illinois claim he did not remit funds. Nugent admits using goods but says he acted on their directions. Case draws little attention. jury selected without trouble. John B Grignon longtime city resident died at home after weeks of illness. Born near Nellosa in 1847 he lived in the city most of his life and moved to Winnesonna briefly. He served in the Civil War and is survived by his wife two daughters and seven sons with funeral at St Peter and Paul Catholic church Friday morning at 10 o'clock officiated by Rev William Reding.
