Daily CPA Trains Restored To Begin November First
Vice President Bury announced in the city that daily passenger service on the Boundary division of the Canadian Pacific railway would be restored starting November 1. East and west bound trains will arrive in the city at nearly the same times as before. On Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays the west bound train will connect at Midway with the Kettle Valley line for the coast, and on Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays the east bound Kettle Valley Mine train will connect at Midway with the east bound OPR train.

Christina Lake Hotel Burned at Christina Lake
The large Christina Lake hotel, a popular summer resort for Grand Forks visitors, was destroyed by fire at noon Tuesday. Loss estimated at 10000 dollars with 5000 dollars insured. Fire believed to have started in the kitchen. Mrs Ole Johnson and Mrs Elmer Ness, residents of the hotel, are left homeless. Johnson and Ness were away on a hunting trip at the time.
