Baker reviewed the Rainbow division at Camp Mills Mineola New York where 27 000 guardsmen from 27 states marched past for one hour and 28 minutes General MacArthur and Major General Bliss observed The secretary called the display the most impressive night he had witnessed praising the troops condition spirit and unity and noting the national effort behind the world war.

Gronna and La Follette faced censure for disloyal remarks while Minot United Commercial Travelers resolution endorsed and Knights pledged support to the government against the Nonpartisan League.
