Air fleet of about sixteen German airships raided English towns along the south coast Friday night. Official report lists 76 killed and 174 injured, with 27 women and 23 children among the dead. Three raiders shot down and Allied forces claim several airship losses.
Minot attorney general Langer, during a morning court session, said he knew he lacked legal authority to seize the local telephone exchange but would proceed in similar fashion against a post office or railroad in a raid. The case on the postal exchange is expected to proceed toward completion.
