Fifty pressmen in Duluth Minnesota resumed the old two shift 44 hour week yesterday after a break in ranks. The workers, part of a mercantile printing trade group, returned to their duties as Tremners and others noted the renewal of industrial calm.
Minnesota highway officials warned that without renewed federal aid by August 15 the state must slash nearly three million dollars from its 1921 trunk highway program. Fraine was named president with L L Eckman and B C Boyd in top posts. Lemuel Bolles of the American Legion spoke this afternoon as fairgoers in uniform gained free admission.

E G Hall of Minneapolis was reelected for the eleventh term as president defeating Frank E Miner Minneapolis 239 to 125. W H Sykes Rochester and G W Lawson St Paul elected treasurer and secretary. District vice presidents named for nine districts with election to continue. Next year’s meeting city to be decided by delegate ballot among Crookston St Cloud and Mankato.
