Olva July 12 A G Amier son, chair of Vela township Supervisors, and A D Anderson of Merchants' State Bank traveled to Bismarck to resolve unpaid road work checks drawn on the township treasury. The township held $1,200 deposited in the state bank under an agreement to divert funds to cover road expenses.
About twelve hotel and restaurant men are expected in Chicago for sessions of the American Hotel Association of the United States and Canada and affiliated groups. The meeting occurs this week with members from both nations anticipated to attend.
