Washington January 19 the house of representatives voted against increasing membership from 435 to 483 by a reapportionment bill amendment. Two seats would shift from one state to another to keep total at 435 while the plan faced opposition.
A state board resolution proposes no maintenance funding this session for Mayville and Ellendale normal schools Bottineau forestry, and Wahpeton science plus Ellendale industrial and Mayville normal.
