He notes the reported 45 078 45 net state profit rests on accrued interest from state bonds held by the bank and cites a 46 719 64 interest figure that should offset against earnings leaving a 641 19 deficit. The Drake mill shows a 2 746 28 profit while mischarged operating expenses reduce it by 624 to a loss. the Mill and Elevator association indicates larger losses for the period August 20 to December 31.
