Halifax Blast Toll Prompts Red Cross Trains

Halifax reports indicate the Imo collided with Mont Blanc in Halifax harbor and caused massive destruction. Eyewitness accounts describe graphic injuries after a rail wreck near St. John and nose and eye injuries. Investigators cite an infernal machine detonating an express car on a Northern Pacific train near Bismarck two weeks earlier, with sixty thousand dollars lost. Windsor fire followed a car explosion described by express messengers, filling the car with smoke and rapid fire spread.
