ZR-2 Dirigible Explodes Over Hull River Disaster
The giant airship ZR-2 exploded and broke apart over the Humber River at Hull England, falling into the water in flames. Survivors say ten or more were saved while twelve bodies were recovered. five American officers and many British crew were aboard as the craft neared its final test before a U S Navy handover. Parachutes were seen with several crew as the fireball illuminated the riverfront.

Will Allen, a negro from near Chapin, Ky, who yesterday killed Noah Frick, a white tamer, was lynched by a posse of 150 men in a South Carolina city. The mob action occurred in broad daylight as authorities could not stop the mob. No charges were filed as the mob carried out the punishment.
