A collision near Amsterdam involved the Empire State Express and eastbound train No. 16 from Buffalo with a freight wreck. The eastbound train reportedly overturned into the Mohawk river. Edmunds Arrested in Minot on Indecent Offense Charge

Minot North Dakota April 3 Edmunds a 54 year old lifelong resident living in a shack in the east end was arrested Saturday on a charge of a statutory offense. It is alleged he enticed a girl aged under 12 to his shack for abortion purposes. He was detained in the city jail in a state of agitation, carrying a plastering lath as if armed against Germans and the Kaiser. Edmunds has lived in Minot for about ten years and has been a medicine peddler by trade.
