If Democrats refuse, Senator Magnus Johnson may be named farmer labor candidate for governor. The convention also authorized talks with Democrats and endorsed initiative measures.

Sir John Eaton Dies in Toronto

Toronto April 1 Sir John Eaton noted Canadian is dead after a six week illness. His wife Lady Eaton his mother Mrs Timothy Eaton and his 18 year old son Timothy Eaton were present as officials and relatives of the Eaton department store group gather. The funeral will be held at the Timothy Eaton Memorial church at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon.
