Special Train to T O Fair in Wichita Falls Planned
Special train plans are under way for a trip to the T O Fair in Wichita Falls on Saturday, October 4. Graham Sees Heavy September Rainfall Totaling Eight Inches
In Graham September has brought repeated downpours with over two inches on September 11 and 17 and more than three inches on September 21 totaling about eight inches. The rains hinder cotton picking and harm late cotton but benefit fall feed and ground moisture for sowing small grain. Stock water is replenished and fall grass is expected to grow quickly with good weather ahead.

Jury Hears Griffin Murder Verdict in Archer County
In Graham Texas Herbert Griffin was found guilty of murder in the State of Texas vs Griffin case. The jury set his punishment at 25 years in the state penitentiary after a ten day trial in the 30th district court. The defense claimed self defense and defense of property as motives.
