Miss Lula O'Donnell announces private or class instruction in elocution and physical culture. Dr J W Gallaherg and family visited relatives in the country last week while Dr R N Price and wife traveled to Fort Worth for medical treatment for cancer.
The Graham Gin will be ready to gin cotton by September 1 after thorough repairs. It will gin for toll and purchase cotton in seed or bale. Citizens are urged to bring cotton to the Graham Gin on Morrison Street & Co. Rev T E Smith remains ill and unable to preach at the Methodist church last Sunday.

The first institute of the scholastic year convened at the Graham courthouse last Friday and Saturday. Attendance was small but the program was interesting and attendees profited. A courier reports Derwin Brown of Indian Mound was struck by lightning while gathering corn with a team. He lost consciousness for about four hours but regained awareness. physicians treated him and described a narrow escape from death.
