In Young County on May 4 1878 at Graham Isaac A Ledbetter was named chairman and J M Taylor secretary. Eight delegates to the July 17 1878 Democratic State Convention were chosen Mosely Vance Graves Spiller Ryus Taylor Williams Ledbetter. Resolutions praised Gov Throckmorton and denounced defaming Hubbard. Meeting adjourned.
