Journey to New Orleans From Fort Worth to Creole City
A Graham party travels by train from Fort Worth to New Orleans, passing oil regions and sugar plantations in Texas and Louisiana. The journey includes rail ferries, river crossings, and arrival at Iberville Street with a lively Canal and Royal Street scene. The writers note rice fields, cane, and plantation life before lodging with friends and preparing for the reunion events.
