The New Store offers staples and groceries, cigars and tobacco, lunch stand, hot coffee, and canned goods at low prices. Located in Graham, Texas, at the site of the former Akin’s drug store.
In operation in town the finest product advertised as Aromatic Cough Syrup. Claims no opiate or poison and appeals to children for its sweet taste. For sale by R G Graham and Co with urging readers to try it and be convinced.
Fragmented OCR notes list KK. G. Guanam & Co. Graham D. Rh Axis Epwa ps Bros Elianville and mention THEDFORD'S BLACK-DRAUGHT and Aromatic Cough Syrup as claimed best sellers. The text remains garbled with unreadable names and stray phrases about sales and customers.
Judge McCormick and District Attorney Marshall arrive in Graham with prisoners. A sixty man federal venire is ordered from Eastland and other counties for mob cases in Young County. Hobson to Paris trial bid after two years in jail. Sunday School meeting praised despite cold. An open debate on repentance with F. M. MacGlothlin and W. J. Hrogins is proposed.
