Hinson and Kisinger Wed at Methodist Parsonage

In Young county a marriage united G D Hinson and Fannie Kisinger at 7:45 last Sunday evening officiated by Rev. F E Singleton. Hinson, son of G W Hinson, is tax assessor and popular. Kisinger, daughter of John Kisinger, is a respected teacher. The couple received many fine gifts as they begin married life.

Local Rabbit War Ends After 55 Kills in 56 Shots

G. B. Reatherford of Gooseneck reports a rabbit drive last Saturday. He fired 56 shots and says he killed 55 cotton tails. He stopped after showers left him unable to find more rabbits and shoulder soreness kept him from resuming the chase.

Enthusiastic Prohibition Meeting in Young County

County Chairman S. R. Crawford leads Graham business and professional leaders in Beckham National Bank to plan a state-wide prohibition drive over the next thirty days. A committee including Jnc. E. Morrison Dr. J. L. Williamson Rev. C. F. Pearce Judge E. W. Fry and Dr. W. T. Rouse will arrange speaker dates and assist communities calling for prohibition talks throughout Young County. Crawford has secured a speaker for July 2 to spend 20 days in the county.

Revival Meeting Under Tent Closes With Conversions

The two week revival led by Dr. J. E. McLean ended Sunday night with about thirty conversions and as many reconsecrations. Large attentive crowds, strong sermons, and earnest appeals marked the service. Morning Bible readings aided the effort and cottage prayer meetings by the Fourth Ward ladies were notably successful. The group plans monthly gatherings, next hosted by Mrs. Jno. E. Morrison on Friday July 7. All ladies are invited and urged to bring Bibles.

Austin College Quartet Set for Opera House Appearance

The Austin College Quartet from Sherman will perform at the Opera House next Monday night June 26 under the Presbyterian Ladies Aid Society. They recently gave a Dallas recital at the YMCA Building to an enthusiastic crowd praised for vocal and instrumental work. The group plans further Texas appearances, ending in Galveston and Kerrville for the Presbyterian Assembly, featuring H W Cunningham S L Anderson T M Cunningham and W M Anderson Jr.
