Wedding at Rabbetts home unites Willie Garvin and Jesse Tackett
The wedding took place Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at the home of Mrs. Rachel Garvin. Miss Willie Garvin married Mr. Jesse Tackett in a simple ceremony led by Rev. Gaines B. Hall. The bride wore white silk with lace trim, and guests filled the house with well wishes and gifts. The couple, long residents of Graham, will reside with Mrs. Moseley on South Oak Street.

The W. O. W. Picnic Independence Day Report
The W O W and W C held a July 4 picnic with limited country attendance due to a stock quarantine forbidding horse movement from St to Precinct No 1. Town folks enjoyed the afternoon program and a drill by the degree teams. Evening pall game at the ball park ended with Graham defeating Jacksboro.

The State Health Officer is sending an expert at Judge Fry's request to investigate the horse disease prevalent in the county. Those desiring service should submit their names to the department.
