Round Table Study Lesson At Mrs. Hudson Home

The C L S C met at Mrs. Z A Hudson's home on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. B W King presented a paper on The Round Table and Mrs. Garrett led the lesson from Through England With Tennyson. The lesson notes Lyonnesse as a submerged mystic land and Camelot as the site where Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table held court.

Capt J A Woolfolk, the oldest pioneer citizen, who lived here before railroads and schools, visited The Leader last Thursday and renewed his county allegiance. He helped organize the county and has closely tracked regional progress for nearly seventy five years.

J. E. Parsons arrived from Littlefield announcing his daughter Miss Alta is improved. Mrs. R. F. Arnold and her daughter Miss Kate departed Monday for Henrietta after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Fred Arnold in the city and Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Arnold, Jr. of Miller Bend.

Newcastle Incorporation Vote Result

In the election held in Newcastle today the town voted on incorporation. The tally was 117 in favor and 5 against, deciding to become an incorporated municipality.
