Three Year Old Burn Victim Recovers From Scalding
Little Billie McCloud, son of Mr. and Mrs. R J McCloud, was severely burned last Friday after backing into a bucket of hot water. Mrs McCloud placed a bucket on the floor while reaching for a tub. The child, playing with a kiddie bar, was seriously burned but doctors now report he has a chance to recover as healing begins amid past dangers.

Bates Family Attends Funeral in Cooledge
S S Bates of Graham and J E Bates of South Bend returned Monday from Cooledge where they attended the funeral of their father. He died last Friday after months of illness at age sixty five. The sons reached his bedside just minutes before death, and he was a well regarded Cooledge citizen.

Get Automobile Numbers Before February First

The ceremony was at six in the afternoon conducted by Dr C R Taylor of the First Baptist church. Velma, daughter of Mr and Mrs W M Hale of Olney, has lived in Graham as a child and later in South Bend. Wood Hale, long a Olney resident and former Leader linotype operator, is son of Hon John H Wood, now an attorney at Seymour. They reside on South Elm Street and are greeted by many friends.
