Diphtheria Case Alarms Olney Area. School Dismissals Ordered
A diphtheria case in the Gambrell home near Olney prompted school board action to dismiss classes for a week as a precaution. Curtiss Gambrell, 12, died Sunday after contracting the disease Friday. Local doctors say spread can be prevented with antitoxin and that exposure from the Gambrell home appears contained.

Mrs. C. P. Pittman Dies in Mansfield
