Pioneer Citizen Elizabeth Moseley dies in Graham
Elizabeth Moseley, Graham's oldest resident, died Monday afternoon at Mrs. L. E. Norman's home after paralysis followed bronchial illness. Funeral at Baptist Church Tuesday, burial Oak Grove Cemetery. Born July 5 1844 in London, she moved to Texas in 1874, settled in Graham, lived there many decades, active in church and community life. Survived by her husband’s prior death and one surviving relative, Mr. Ben Moseley.

City Schools Close Christmas Holidays
City schools will close Friday December 12 for two weeks. Teachers must attend the County Institute for five days, held in Jacksboro this year starting next Monday morning, with pupils on break for two weeks and teachers one. Reopening is December 29 and New Year’s Day is not observed.

Superintendent I T Gilmer announced Graham High School has been admitted to the Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools after meeting stringent requirements.
