Cedar posts for sale. Address or apply to B. E. McKinton in Graham Texas. Mrs W H Farmer and her son Graves Farmer were in town a few days last week.

The district ends the term amid a depleted treasury of about fifty dollars. Patrons praise pupil progress while nearly twenty dollars a month is offered for the teacher to stay. A cow incident and weather note precede grocery ads and album promotions.
The Belknap column reports light rainfall and gloomy weather while the school maintains forty five pupils. A wedding took place as Rev Upton solemnized Mr Albert McEwen and Miss Mariah Hardy. Miss Lulu Bennett died of heart disease and Mr Bud Simpson passed away of consumption with Masonic rites planned. Conan J H Newby visits Roberts County roots.
Announcment for a grand opening on December 21, 1891, invites the public to visit W. F. Gorrisson’s store offering a large, cheap assortment. Includes a call to see the display and read correspondents’ letters about local activity and efforts to attract families and children.
A correspondent plans to contribute likely readable items. The Tank Valley public school opens Monday December 7 with Prof. Mercer as teacher. Mrs. Louis White and Miss Claudia Bellamy began visits to friends in Mexico. Miss Lizzie Bellamy returns home to Comanche county. Mr. H J Parker goes to east Texas on business. Lee Coffman returns from a long visit to McLennan county. Most residents expect to finish cotton gatherings this week.
A note from D. RK invites children to visit Axis & 0 store to view prizes. The message promises patience and time to assist young shoppers and suggests a child friendly shopping environment.
The column lauds V F Gorrissen’s pricing, mentions Thanksgiving calm, rain on the 8th, and local wheat sowing. The Lewer scribe and others attended a school board meeting last Saturday and stayed after the sitting when the board cited private business. They apologize for intruding and admit ignorance, pledging to avoid future misunderstandings of public affairs.

Parson Black killed two turkeys last Saturday night and asserts he got home before eight. Mrs Arnold reportedly lost two turkeys Saturday night. Seth Mabry, three, was kicked by a horse, fracturing his skull, in critical condition though doctors hope for recovery. Invitations went out for the marriage of Hunter P Lane and Lizzie L Green at Wills Point yesterday. we hope it occurred and they live happily ever after.
Bertram Wood son of J M Wood has been ill with fever but is improving Ed Wallace has recovered enough from rheumatism to go out again The notice promotes Xmas goods and drugs with prizes from DR Akin & Co.
Mrs Sadie Parker opens a confectionery stand beside the old Red Store promising a full supply of confections at the lowest prices. Sheriff Lasater notes taxes coming in slowly, while locals pledge to pay after summer “thrash” as common in the period.
