A Chicago streetcar conductor embraced religion and built a small church near his home. He encouraged punctual tithes as devotion grew, then confronted a hoodlum causing trouble on a Sunday. The thug resisted paying fare, but the conductor and pastor debated hearts and responsibility, with the thug ultimately refusing to contribute.
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing moved to a new location near the Treasury, necessitating a secure transfer system. A heavy iron and steel wagon, vault like in design, with combination locks and gilt olive paint, is drawn by two large horses and escorted by five treasury agents.
