It warns that banning liquor would devastate Texas business by retirement of millions of dollars annually and claims a wholesale rebuke is needed.
A clip from Scientific American explains making a durable whitewash. Slake lime, strain, add dissolved salt, mix rice paste, whiting, and glue, boil to a thin paste, then let stand for days. Store hot in a kettle and apply with brushes. color with small amounts of dry pigment.

The Arkansas Traveler cites a colored brother, arguing no matter resolutions or professed religion a man’s blood remains flawed at birth. He claims a person born without principle will die lacking it, despite being full of cleverness and reasoning.
