Concrete Culvert Replaces Narrow South Street Bridge

The F. G. Spencer Trailer Company of Augusta Kansas plans to open a Graham facility to distribute trailers for moving and transferring heavy oil field materials. Remains of Mamie LeGrand moved for burial in Hereford
The John E. Morrison undertaking department disinterred two year old Mamie LeGrand from Oak Grove cemetery after twenty three years. Her steel casket remained intact while the wooden box showed age. The LeGrand family, long gone from the area, decided to relocate Mamie's remains for burial in Hereford. The Graham Leader noted Mamie's death occurred in 1899 and described the child as beloved and a town treasure.
