Speedway, Indianapolis, Ind., May 30. Tommy Milton in a Frontenace car won the four mile race today with a time of 5:34:44:65, averaging about 89.62 miles per hour, leading Sarles at the finish.
Indy speedway races recap noting DePalma was forced out with a broken rod in lap 113. Tom Mi on won, Sarles second, with historical times listed for Harroun, Dawson, Goux, Delage, DePalma, Resta, Wilcox, and Chevrolet across years 1911 to 1920. Highest average speed cited is 89.84 mph by DePalma in 1915.
