Washington May 10 Chief Edward Douglas White of the United States Supreme Court died at 2 this morning after bladder trouble and heart dilation. Born November 3 1845 in Louisiana he served in the Civil War and in the Senate before joining the bench appointed in 1894 and elevated to chief in 1910. A private funeral will be held Saturday with President Harding and Cabinet in attendance.
