Man kills himself after shooting at woman outside church
Tom L. Dalton of Rusk Texas fired a revolver at Mrs. Margaret Stewart at the Leral Cafe in Dallas. A bullet struck her hat and she fainted. Dalton then shot himself in front of the First Baptist church, believing he had killed her. The woman, unconscious, told police of prior attempts to persuade her to leave Dallas with him.

Prisoners Escape From Jack County Jail Yesterday

Stolen Hudson Found With Broken Axle Near Graham
A Hudson super six owned by G. F. Browning of the Clear Fork Oil & Gas Co was stolen from in front of the city hall. The thief fled toward the South Bend road but the axle snapped forcing abandonment.
