A picket band with reinforcements from the north assembled in the Charleston coal field today. About 75 to 100 carloads of men moved into the upper Creek area ten miles north of Charleston. State Police patrolled the roads as the group remained largely peaceful. Another 60 cars bearing pickets headed south from Clarksburg, part of a 175 car motorcade touring the northern state, seeking mines, but none were found operating up to Jane Lew in Lewis county.

Final Search For Missing Miners In Pikeville
