Lady Injured In Auto Crash Near Gratton
Mrs David Fries of Pittsburgh sustained serious injuries in a Sunday night car crash on Fellowsville hill near Gratton. She suffers a triple fracture of the lower jaw a crushed right leg and internal injuries. Her husband and a child were injured lightly while two other passengers escaped. Mrs Fries was taken to Clarksburg hospital and surgeons planned wire repair of the jaw.

Kentucky lobbyists fined for misdemeanor conduct
Frankfort, Sept 4. Fred H. Perkins and Martin Palmer, Louisville lobbyists for the Kentucky Plumbers Joint Sanitary Board, were found guilty of misdemeanor contact during the last assembly and fined 250 dollars plus costs.
