An airplane out of control crashed into gasoline drums behind which children were hiding, killing Tommy Godman 6 Danny Woodman 8 Freddie McDonald 6 and Willie Bird 11. Four others were injured including Dorothy Woodman 11 and Dickie Woodman 4. Pilot Capt. W N Sherlock and a passenger were unhurt.
President Hoover will submit the question of U S adherence to the World Court to the Senate this session. He said the decision should be guided by Senate leaders and not used to trigger an extra session. Senator Borah, opposing American entry, said he would promptly bring the matter before the Foreign Relations Committee.
Mrs. J M Keith Miller, an experienced flyer from Pittsburgh now in Havana, vanished after taking off for a flight over the Gulf and Florida Keys.
