Murder and death by own action at Erdlin Farm
A coroner's jury ruled murder and death by own action in the deaths of John C. Erdlin and farm hand John Geib at Erdlin's farm near Witenberg. Operation on Man's Skull Is Successful
In Charleroi Pennsylvania a medical team from Baltimore and Pittsburgh performed brain surgery on Stephen Nandor a 28 year old man who survived a skull fracture from a November 1 automobile accident. Six cranial fractures were repaired the bone fragment weighing three ounces was removed and Nandor remained conscious. Doctors say the prognosis remains guarded though his condition is extraordinary.
