County School Unit Plan Provisions Toward Governor
Charleston May 28 a summary of the primary provisions of the county school unit bill guiding to Governor Kump. It would abolish 300 to 400 independent and magisterial boards and create 55 county boards. County boards could take over buildings property hire teachers levy and duties formerly handled by district boards. Existing bond obligations remain with present districts.
