Logan May 22 The Logan Laundry plant reopened after a labor dispute that led to a walkout and the arrest of six workers on conspiracy to attack a state trooper. NEW MARTINSVILLE May 22. A coroner's jury ruled William Smith of Wik killed rural mail carrier W. H. Amnett and died by his own hand by inhaling gas from an oil tank. Smith's body was found in a 100 gallon vat in Wick. a pistol with five empty cartridges was in his pocket.

Counterfeit Bill Passers Arrested By Federal Agents
Three Clarksburg men Vincent Longo Emanuel Garcia and Arthur E Watkins were arrested by federal agents in Monessen and Donora Pa on charges of passing counterfeit money. Police say the arrests may solve the seizure of about 14 ten dollar notes in Grafton and Taylor counties as the case expanded with state and county officers efforts over ten days. Notes had appeared in Harrison Taylor Marion Barbour counties in West Virginia and in Uniontown Brownsville Monesson and Denora Pa.
