Paris reports Stefan Osusky, former Czecho Slovakia minister to France, warned ex President Eduard Benes in the United States of a Nazi plotted assassination. Pocketbook Snatcher Is Sentenced To One Year
Pleading guilty to a misdemeanor Wallace Walkup former Industrial school inmate was sentenced to a year in the county jail by Judge Herbert W. Dent in Taylor county circuit yesterday. He was arrested by city police for stealing a pocketbook from Mrs. W. A. Collins of West Main Street containing $60 and had been indicted for grand larceny.
