State payrolls fall 84 million in 1938 says WV report

Former Club Leader Beery Dies in Grafton at 80
Mrs. Margaret M. Beery Byers a founder and early president of the Grafton Woman's club died at 7 this morning at 211 Maple Avenue after a five month paralysis illness. Native of Maryland born January 27, 1857 she lived in the city since childhood. Her husband, the late W. C. Byers, predeceased her.
