Informants say West Germany has regained sovereignty prompting Konrad Adenauer to press for the earliest possible East West talks on German reunification. Reports detail Geneva discussions and Allied observers weighing the shift in sovereignty and potential talks.

SCRANTON Pa Three convicts charged with killing government economist William Remington will plead guilty to second degree murder in U S District Court at Lewisburg Pa The U S Attorney said the defendants Lewis Cagle 17 Robert Carl Parker 31 and George Junior McCoy 34 changed from innocent pleas in a Nov Remington death case during a failed robbery attempt.
Huntington roared with bugles drums and majorettes as 56 high school bands led a festival parade through downtown to Fairfield Stadium. About 4400 band members and students participated in the 20th annual West Virginia High School Band Festival, with tonight’s program highlighted by an all state band concert at Huntington High School.

Clarksburg Harrison County acting coroner M. H. Kulhi states Joseph J. Lynch, 72, found hanged at his home near Shinnston. The death is ruled as by own action and police report $1,074 on the body. No known survivors.
