Former Taylor County Court Clerk Dies at 70
Marion D Allender 70 a former clerk of the Taylor county circuit court died at his Blueville residence after Christmas complications. Born Morgantown November 25 1868 he served as clerk in 1908 and had been a prominent Taylor countian for nearly 50 years. Survived by his widow Harriett Costello daughter Mrs W L Towles of Blueville and sisters Miss Ida Allender Mrs M L Abbott and Mrs Mary Madera of Grafton. He was also a carpenter and merchant and once a Grafton city police officer.
