New TB Cases Uncovered At Taylor County Clinic
Taylor County Anti Tuberculosis and Health Society held its January clinic uncovering fifty eight new tuberculosis cases. Miss Norma Ullman reported to society president Frank M Hollis that 26 cases were adults, 18 were ages 18 to 19, and 14 were under 15. Sixteen older cases were examined and 48 of those examined were not diseased.

In Norwalk on March 8, the widow Coletta Schlett and Harold Hastings were charged with first degree murder in the death of Carl Schlett. Coroner Bradish ruled he was deliberately run down on January 26 on a rural highway west of Norwalk.
