Man Gets Year For Robbery in 1930 Case
PARKERSBURG March 1 George Shamblin pleaded guilty today to a robbery seven years ago and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment. He was returned here for trial on a charge of shooting and robbing Charles Hastings tollkeeper on the Belpre Parkersburg bridge on July 5 1930. Three others convicted in the holdup now are serving terms at the penitentiary. Shamblin was identified by his finger prints while confined at the Illinois state prison at Joliet.

GRAFTON MEN ARE CLEARED OF THEFT CHARGE
Two well known Grafton men, O. B. Martin proprietor of Franks Place and Cliff Sturms a B and O engineer, were released by Barbour county authorities after being cleared in connection with the theft of guns from a roadhouse near Ilington. Sheriff Foreman said the two had an absolute part in the theft but a third man held in jail is blamed for disappearance of the two and a revolver. $82 in total value involved. The sheriff noted both men were cooperative while the investigation continued.
