In Amsterdam New York on June 20 a 45 year old former Utica hospital inmate William G Serviss is held on first degree murder charges after allegedly hacking his aunts Mrs Mary Enders 80 and Mrs Jennie Enders 83 to death with an axe in their home over money. An inquest found the two women dead with heads split open. Serviss lived with them since January. He died at Amsterdam hospital after being seized with alcohol earlier that night.
