Fourteen year old Ellsworth Day of 919 West Main Street suffered a fractured arm when his bicycle was struck by a trailer truck at the Maple Avenue and Walcutt Street intersection at 3 p m. State police investigated the Saturday incident. The truck driver did not stop, but Trooper G F Randall believed he did not know the cyclist.

31 Merit Badges Given To Boy Scouts of This City
Thirty-one merit badges were awarded Friday evening at the Y M C A meeting of the Court of Honor of the Grafton Boy Scouts of America. County Court Offers Tract For Hospital
Taylor county court offers a two acre tract from the county farm near the Webster Grafton road to the city of Grafton for a hospital site. The land is on level ground away from the highway and deemed ideal for hospital use. The court order was being drafted by the county clerk and will be given to the city council on Monday.
