Joe Plum Tries High Dive Then Falls From Bridge
Joe Plum attempted suicide by leaping from a bridge into the river's center area early this morning. He was pursued by officers, swung from a steel girder near the centre pier, fell about 35 feet into shallow water, and was found unharmed aside from scratches. He was taken home for examination and is resting well. The motive remains a mystery though no prior cause is evident and his family is intact.
