Traction Co Installs New Signal Light Across From Post Office

The Tyeart Valley Traction Co has installed a signal light opposite the post office to show the Fet terman car position and prevent Maple avenue cars from passing ahead. Arthur Proudfoot led the mechanical work and plans a second light on the West Side line to indicate if that car has passed the post office switch toward the railway station. The green signal after Fetterminan crosses allows the Maple avenue car to follow into the station. The firm hopes to add thirty minutes of service to the Grafton Parfs when the city installs the float. current operations run only to the Pottery bridge. If Hazel Atlas reopens conditions permit, three cars may again run on the Fetterminan Blueville route, after a period with only two.
