Mansfield Ohio June 19 Henry Brunner chairman of the state central Democratic committee announced Ohio's delegation to the Democratic national convention will cast its first ballot for former Senator Atlee Pomerene. He said the second ballot decision would follow the first. Pomerene said he would not try to influence delegates beyond the first ballot and denied seeking the nomination. Ohio's delegation was pledged to Pomerene though many desire Governor Smith on the first ballot and only one delegate from the primary supported Smith.
